The Design Story

kudrat ka khel

Kudrat ka Khel
Pooja and Bugali, a mother-daughter duo, named their hand-knotted creation, their manchaha as "Kudrat Ka Khel" (The Play of Nature). The duo attempted to demonstrate how everything in our lives revolves around nature and the universe, which holds significant influence. They weaved a large shakarpara into their carpet and placed a Trishul (trident) at the center of the rug, surrounded by clouds and flowers beautifully weaved on the hand-knotted rug, and all of which are related to nature. Pooja and Bugali emphasized the strength of the universe and our dependency on the nature. Their message through "Kudrat Ka Khel" is to focus on spirituality and the positive aspects of life. They believe that what we say and think manifests in our actions, and hence we should strive to surround ourselves with positivity.
