The Design Story
teda-medaTeda-MedaMaina weaved the pathway of her younger son in this runner rug. The calm straight lines on both the sides merged in seven light and dark shades describes the monotone of her everyday life. The child adds the stir, from demanding and getting snacks every day and then leading the walk of glory in the village with his friends makes Maina weave his zig-zag footprints in this Manchaha, hence the name Teda-Meda, meaning zig-zag. Depicting the excitement of a mother, this rug breaks the monotony of the places it stays.
