In this Manchaha, Mooli Devi gathers the world into a single surface. She weaves the sun and the moon, a quiet rainbow, and a sky scattered with stars. Look closely and a half moon reveals itself on the right, subtle, almost private, as if meant to be discovered rather than announced. While working on this rug, Mooli carried a simple but powerful thought: may the world come to see my work. Holding this feeling, she did not wait for the world to arrive, she created it herself. The rug becomes her universe. Celestial forms drift across the surface, balanced by grounded textures and deep blues, suggesting both sky and land. The stars repeat gently, marking time and presence. Through weaving, Mooli places herself at the center of that world, not as a visitor, but as its maker.
