The Design Story
parivarParivarParivar (Family) begins at a shared loom, where Rajjo weaves alongside her daughter Vimla and daughter-in-law Poonam—three lives moving together in one rhythm. The composition grows in layers, much like their lives. Patterns rise one above the other, each section holding a different rhythm, a different voice. Some areas are dense and repetitive, reflecting years of practice and discipline; others loosen into softer transitions, where instinct takes over. The trio did not aim for symmetry, they allowed the rug to evolve as their thoughts did. At the center stands a house, steady and grounded. It anchors the rug, much like their home anchors the family. From this point, paths spread outward in multiple directions, suggesting movement—daily routines, changing roles, and the quiet journeys each woman makes within the same shared life. This Manchaha is not about a single moment. It is about continuity, how the same place, the same loom, and the same family can create something entirely new, again and again, simply by living and weaving forward.
