The Design Story

Rangon ki Kheti
When Vinod received yarn shades in his favorite green color, he felt excited and decided to weave memories of the farms he used to work on into his rug. He started by experimenting with different designs, aiming to capture the essence of his village fields. He intricately detailed a wheat field in some areas and organized fields of cotton in others. The top part of the rug is especially meaningful to Vinod. He tried to recreate the evening scene when the sun would set, casting a golden glow over the crops, making them look like fields of gold. Naming his creation "Rangon ki Kheti" ("Cultivation of Colors"), Vinod fondly recalled the vibrant farming life of his village through his artwork.
